#62 Patchwork - Oct 14, 15, 20 and 21

The workshop began with a walking tour of our neighbourhood with French architect-restorer Etienne Coppé, looking at the various layers of architectural heritage in Nasra and Furn el Hayek. Back at Takeover, artist Christine Safatly introduced us to her work and how she mixes different mediums using both traditional and unexpected materials.

The following days participants were invited to work with found objects from the neighbourhood, slowly introducing various media into their visual experiments such as paint, pastel, clay, tape and various objects.
