This is an open call for Lebanese or Lebanon-based artists to submit paintings, drawings, as well as photography and image-based works in response to the theme: TOOTH AND NAIL
With this theme we invite all kinds of interpretations that explore the human body - as matter, as a vessel, as a playground or battlefield, and its place in our society and current times
Each artist can upload up to 5 works (either singles or as a series)
Deadline to submit: January 21 23:59 Beirut time
Works will be selected by a jury and selected artists will be notified by email

The group show will take place at Takeover at the start of February (dates to be specified soon) and will last for a minimum of 10 days (given the current situation, we are leaving room for flexibility)
Production fees will be covered by Takeover; however, choice of print size and mounting will have to be agreed upon in order to be within the production budget.
Already produced works must be in Lebanon as we will not ship anything from abroad.
Newly produced works will remain the property of the artists, and all works must be collected within 5 days of the exhibition's closing.
The selected artists will receive an artist fee that will be equally divided amongst all from the total sum of 500USD
